Denise A. Porter founded Estate Paralegal Services, Inc in 2010 to assist attorneys with their Estate and Trust clients. She has over 25 years of experience in all phases of estate and trust administration including preparation of estate and fiduciary income tax returns.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from the American Institute for Paralegal Studies, Inc. Her paralegal career started in a small law firm as a general paralegal. In 1988, she was hired as an estate administration paralegal specialist with an international bank in their private clients group. After leaving the bank, she worked primarily for two distinguished estate, trust and tax law firms in Syracuse, New York. Recently, she worked for a privately owned company as an Associate Financial Officer.
Denise is a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association, National Association of Legal Assistants and a former member of The Estate Planning Council of Central New York, Inc. For the last six years, she has proudly served as Secretary and on the Board of Directors of The Women's Effort for People Living with AIDS.
